A custom Squarespace website for a coffee shop in Maryland
When Mark reached out to discuss a new website for his chain of local coffee shops, he shared how difficult it was to update his existing Wordpress website. He wasn’t sure what the process would be like switching from Wordpress to Squarespace, but he knew that a Squarespace expert could handle it. After reviewing the process together, I pitched my ideas for the redesigned website and we were in business.
I started by organizing the structure of the content. The website needed to have a clear call to action to order online, and it need to be the consistent call to action throughout the website. By balancing photos, creamy swirl textures, and SVG icons, the messaging stayed on point without feeling repetitive.
In addition to integrating this Squarespace website with Toast (the online ordering system), the menus of each location utilize Squarespace Blog functionality to make it easy for the business to add/update menu items on their own.
